whats too much feta?

so I got a salad from Wendy's thinking I could have the feta taken off or on the side but it was a premixed salad. the pieces were so small and scattered I couldn't possibly pick them out. it wasn't a huge amount so it shouldn't be awful right?

Anytime you eat out you are probably consuming way more in portion than you should. The cheese should be pasteurized so you have nothing to worry about.

The cheese at Wendy's is definitely pasteurized. As long as it's pasteurized, you can have any cheese, including soft cheeses!

I've been paying attention to the cheese labels now...goat, feta, brie.. and everything I've seen so far in the US is pasteurized!

At Wendy's it is pasteurized.  Everything is fornthe most part.  Anything commercial at least.  You're fine

I ate feta on a salad yesterday at a local restaurant. I didn't even realize it till several hours later. I'm not worried about it though because I seriously doubt the restaurant used unpasteurized cheese. Feta is safe if it is made with pasteurized milk. Almost all cheese in the US is pasteurized. You just have to really watch for imported and local cheeses which may be unpasteurized.

Unless it's imported and therefore possibly not pasteurized, you can eat as much feta as you want! Almost all chain restaurants use domestic cheese, it's the fancy and international restaurants you have to ask.
