Pregnancy question

I found out I was pregnant on August 26th with a faint line positive in both the blue and pink dye.. but two days later I experienced bleeding mostly pink with clear cm. Then it progressed to darker pink/red colors with some blood clots. Mild pains nothing like what I experience with my period.. so for my question now.. my mother with her first pregnancy as well experienced this, can it be hereditary? Is it possible that I'm still with child
