OPK and Breastfeeding??

Question

Does anyone have experience using opk while breastfeeding? 
I am nursing my 7 month old about 4-5 times a day. She has been sleeping through the night (7pm-7am) since 5 months and has solids twice a day. I have not had a postpartum period (did have some spotting a few months ago)
Yesterday I noticed EWCM and very open cervix, so I took a test (top). Today I took another (bottom)
Does this look like ovulation? Or just crazy postpartum breastfeeding hormones..

That second one definitely looks like positive ovulation but yes it's true sometimes we get a false reading while breastfeeding but you said you had EWCM so your fertility is probably gearing up to start soon. I finally got a period right after my son turned 1 and had spotting for two months prior to it. Also had a lot of CM! I've been ttc since my period came back with no luck 😞 but I know I'm ovulating good luck to all of us!

That definitely looks like you may be ovulating or very close to it, although sometimes you can have a false LH surge especially while BFing when your body is gearing back up towards fertility so only way to know for sure whether you havr ovulated is to track your BBT. Not sure if you are TTC but if you arent/don't, I'm guessing you'll very likely get a period in the next few weeks because ovulation usually precedes the first post partum period. I used opks while exclusively pumping and caught the first egg @ 8 months pp without ever having a postpartum period.
