Pineapples to insuce labor???

Anyone ever try or know someone who tried fresh pineapples to induce labor? If so what was the outcome?

Pineapple is not scientifically proven to induce labor. In lab testing pineapple placed directly on uterine tissue does stimulate contractions however, the same effect is not caused when pineapple is eaten. The stomach acid breaks down the enzymes necessary for pineapple to induce labor.

I ate pineapple the night of my last three labors so I think it works for me. I'm being induced in a week and am going to try it again to help things along.

Does it have to be fresh pineapple? Or can it be canned?! I cannot stand fresh pineapple 🤢🤢😂😂
