How do y'all keep clear skin?

How do y'all take care of your skin and keep it clear? I have been to the dermatologist and she continues to put me on the same medication even though I tell her it's not working. I eat healthy and drink a gallon of water everyday. I also wash my face 2-3 times a day (3 bc I play softball) and exfoliate twice a week. Help please.

I think you're really over drying it. Does your Dr know you're washing 2-3 times a day plus exfoliating? I don't think that's helping.

I honestly when I wash my face with something specifically for clear skin it makes it worse but I just wash my face with dove and it honestly helps me a lot and then I put a moisturizer and that's it

I eat healthy, exercise, keep low stress levels, and use only natural skin care products with no chemicals in them. I am 28 and have never had more than 2-3 pimples in a year ever. Maybe 25 total through my life. Just gotta find what works for you.

A lot of water and exfoliating your skin

Lots lots and lots of water even though I have the use the bathroom so much, I don't pick my pimples or touch them, I use cetaphil in the morning and night & I moisturise w/ sensitive skin lotion & one for dry skin to my face hydrated and I hardly get pimples. Sometimes I know you if you eat a lot of dairy that could be it, what your doing is good, try and try to buy a product that doesn't have many ingredients so it stays on a more natural based face wash.

I have very oily skin and all I do is wash my face with one type of soap (I would go for a natural or light type of soap) morning and night. I hardly ever exfoliate

it may sound odd but if you're trying everything else to no prevail it might just be worth a shot anyway...but my brother and I both have pretty bad body acne...mainly our chests and backs...we found that a mixture of baking soda and head and shoulders really works wonders for us....the problem is if we don't use it everyday the acne comes back...takes about 3 days to see progress... it should almost be like a paste when you mix it...leave it on while you wash and condition your hair for about 3 min or so.
