I hate having to deal with those people who only want a fling. I also dislike those people that you fall for, who have no interest in you. It can be hard sometimes trying to find someone.

The first awkward date where you just meet them and don't know what to expect. 
Can't really avoid that one though. 
It's just better when you're on like your 3rd or 4th date and you're more comfortable and relaxed and know what to expect.

meeting and connecting with guys who just want a hookup/long term fwb situation because they're too immature and selfish to handle a real relationship. long cons, essentially. just went through this with my ex. at my age (30), I'm done playing. I don't want some hookup b.s. that just wastes my precious time and years of my life going nowhere but to the bedroom. and for what? to see him marry some other girl in the end?

People. The people part of dating is exhausting 😩 Sure, you can find a few people you connect with and get along with, but in my experience like 75% of it ended up being me giving my time to guys that didn't deserve my time and were disrespectful, narcissistic, pushy, violent, emotionally immature, using me for hopes of sex, etc. 🙄 One guy was actually suspended from my university because he harassed and stalked me (and 3 other girls)! 😨 
My best advice is to develop a better radar than I did for scummy people! Lol. Have high standards. Demand respect. Stand up for yourself! I cannot say this enough: Your feelings matter! Your ideas and opinions matter! Even if it's uncomfortable, you are worth the effort of standing up for yourself, saying no when you are uneasy, making your own decisions. It can be hard to do, but it will save you SOOOOOO much time and stress. It can be hard to overcome the fear of rejection, but if someone doesn't respond well to you standing up for yourself or generally being yourself, you will never be happy with them anyway! And they don't deserve someone as awesome as you! 
I'm soooo glad I'm finally engaged and don't have to do it anymore 😅 Best of luck to the rest of you out there though 💕 It requires a lot of patience and work but remember y'all are worth it and I promise finally finding that special person is soo worth it 😍
