The million dollar question.. when to try again after a Mc?

I had my first miscarriage / d&c; on 8/30 will be going for my follow up appt sometime this week. We are ready to try again asap. When did everyone's doc give them the go ahead? Right away? After first period?   Trying to get some insight Thank you

My doctor said try again ASAP! I did and got pregnant right away no period in between. But I will say emotionally I was not ready I wish I had grieved our loss before getting pregnant again. But I have a healthy rainbow baby boy now (he's one) and he is the best thing ever! Just be prepared for some feelings to potentially resurface. Good luck!!!

My doctor said we didn't have to wait at all if we didn't want to but she recommended after first period just so that you have a time frame. She mentioned that many women go on to have successful pregnancies without waiting for a period, I chose to wait. Wasn't quite ready but do whatever you feel is right but give urself proper time to grieve too. Goodluck and sorry for your loss ❤️ I've been there and I know that it hurts like hell but it does get better.

I was also told first cycle after we were good to go... Emotionally though I didn't feel ready until 4 months later. Definitely talk to your doctor to see what the medical advice is, and then trust your gut psychologically. I'm sorry for your loss. ❤️
