Best time to have 2nd baby?

My husband and I have decided we want another baby but are not sure when. I just had our first son, he is 1 month now. I had a csection due to high blood pressure so I have to wait at least a year. What do you suggest is the best age for my LO to have a sibling?

I am 15 weeks pregnant with my 2nd and my daughter is 11 months old. So she was 8 months old when I got pregnant. I had a c section as well. My doctor didn't mention anything about it being unsafe because of that. 🤷‍♀️

My brother and I are 2 1/2 years apart. And my husbands siblings are each 3-4 years apart! His family is super close, me and my brother are not. I plan on having my second at least 3 or 4 years apart from my first just because I see how they are! But I don't believe there's the "perfect" timing for a second one! Just when you're ready you're ready!

It's recommended by OB's to wait at least 9 months from one baby's birthday before getting pregnant again - longer if you've had a cesarean birth. It's much safer for our bodies and reduces the risk of things like uterine prolapse.

My brother has 3 kids. Baby #1 was born, then baby #2 was born 10months later then baby #3 was born 11 months after that. Baby 1+2 are Both in school now (#2 just started) baby #2 has autism and has shown to be such a good thing being aged close to baby #1 as she goes and helps him in class and stuff when needed and they are super close to each other 🙂
I'm 25 and my sibling are 22, 12 and 8. Personally I don't think there is a "right" age gap. I think Whatever you are mentally and emotionally ready for :)
