Cat declaw

I have to get my cat declawed. She has tore up all of our old furniture and we're about to move and are getting everything new. My husband said if I don't get her declawed I would have to rehome her because we're spending thousands of dollars on getting new furniture since she tore up the rest. We've tried everything else. She is blind and is super dependent of me so when she can't find me or her cat bed she starts scratching up the couch and the carpet and even our dining room chairs.

I just need peace of mind 😭 I don't want her to hate me
