Anyone else's baby not interested in food?

She is ebf and doesn't show much interest. We've tried BLW as well as purees but she spits it out (not tongue reflex, actual spitting) I don't think it's developmental as she has two teeth and is crawling and pulling up on things. Maybe she's just picky 🤷🏼‍♀️ puréed apples is just about the only thing she likes.

Definitely just picky/disinterest for the moment.. I would put money on it. my son is so hit and miss. Some days he eats a couple oz but most days no. But he's been doing solids from 4 months and it took a long time for him to even accept any food at all. I found what worked was teaching him to feed himself. Now that he can use his pincer grasp and/or wield a pouch into his mouth is what made the difference. He STILL won't let me spoon feed him at all. At. All.

I was talking to a nutritionist and he told me that EBF babies tend to have issues with textures rather than flavors, since breast milk is constantly changing to meet the baby's needs and with mom's diet. He suggested mixing breast milk into purees at first to thin it out and make it more familiar texture-wise, and gradually reduce the amount of breast milk over time. Also, just getting into the habit of eating at certain times helps, too, even if they don't take much. Our daughter isn't terribly interested, either, but we've been doing dinner for a while now and just introduced a constant breakfast time. She's been slowly taking a little more each time, so it seems to be working.

If I'm home, she doesn't really care to eat solids. She would rather the boob. But if I'm eating she wants a taste of what I've got.

Maybe the puréed are too smooth for her. My boy preferred the stage 2 foods

We tried every stage of baby food and my daughter hated them all. She is very interested in us eating so I just started giving her small bites of what we eat. I also shred apples, cheese and other soft foods for her to feed herself. So far we haven't found a solid food she doesn't like but she just hates purees! Won't even eat regular apple sauce or mashed potatoes!

My daughter hates all foods until we tried second stage foods and those she loves.  She does just ok with a spoon but goes nuts for the pouch.  We just today were able to get her to eat four ounces in one sitting.
