OPK clarification

Hi everyone! I'm new to using ovulation tests! The past few days I've tested, the lines have gradually gotten darker but they've all remained fairly thin... not sure if that's normal or if the test is faulty. Does anyone have any input on line thickness or does is only have to be just as dark/darker no matter how thick it is?
