I have been dating this person for a while now. We would met up every couple of weeks. We both had things going on in our lives. He had issues with work and was looking for a new job. We were both there for each other and that was nice. My father was ill and I had been told that he was dying. I informed my sister at each important event 're father and got no response. My father died and so I started making plans for his funeral and needed to do as much as possible as I was going away with my kids. while on holiday I got a really nasty text from sister friend accusing me of all sorts of things that were not true. I contacted my SO and he was so helpful. but when I got back from holiday I could not see him for 2 weeks. He is a creature of habit. So I went over to spend time with him and tbh didn't think that I needed to explain that I needed his time as I was feeling so low. So on the first full day he had to get his hair cut and then later he was invited to a party and said that I couldn't go as the couple didn't know me. ummm and then the next day he said that his friends had an emergency and he had to go and talk with them and said that he would be back in 2 hours. well 5 hours later with no call he return. Yes he did apologies and explain but I was so hurt and upset. So over the next 2 days we argued. then he dumped me. But I would like some advise.
