Mine did this too. But not til 5am like 2-3ish. After talking about it I got over it and realized he needs a break! I was mad at the fact he said he was going to play pool but then the next day I found out he left there and they went to a strip club. He never goes out. Always works and comes home so although it pissed me off I do understand he needed to go out and spend time with the guys. He hasn't done anything like that since. I was 5-6months pregnant then. Now I'm at 8 months and he stays home to help me out. I'd say talk to your man but not when you're angry.

My fiancé would not need to lie to me about that because I don't care if he goes out to party. He deserves to have some fun every now and then. You can try as hard as you can to make people do things that you want them to do, but if it's not also what they want, then it usually won't work and you'll always end up disappointed. So I would basically accept the fact that he doesn't feel the same way about it as you do. He wants to go out while he can, which is understandable. If he doesn't cut down when the baby comes, then you have the question on your hands of whether or not you should actually be with him. You can't control what he does, you can only control whether or not you stay with someone who exhibits behaviors you don't like. Personally, I would not be so hard on him at this point in time, I understand it's upsetting when someone lies to you, but you kind of have to think about the reasons why he might've lied. He knew you wouldn't allow him to do what he wanted to do. He knew you would try to control his actions. In my opinion, people don't deserve to be controlled, they deserve to be trusted to go out and have fun because they deserve to do so. I mean, as long as this isn't an every day occurrence, then I see nothing wrong with it. I would have a talk with him about the lying part and just let him know that you don't want to try to control him, but you do want to be able to trust him, so lying is totally unacceptable. If you both do your parts in that way, you should be able to work this out.

Once in a while is ok but he definitely shouldn't have lied about it. And coming home at 5 is very irresponsible of him considering you're pregnant and could need him at any time. I'd definitely talk to him about it. I'd let him know that's it's fine if he wants to go out but there's no need to lie or be irresponsible about it.
