first baby food

my baby boy got the ok from his doctor to start introducing baby food to him he is 4 months old and is a big spitter and would still eat a bottle every 2 hours. so it should help with his spitting up. so ill give him some solids and then some formula after to wash it down. but he had loved it so much he kept reaching for the spoon to say give me more lol. my little boy is growing up. :( he had actually lasted longer without eating since he had the solid.
