How has having a dog changed your life? 😊

Hi! I have an almost two year old baby girl and live with my SO. We're thinking of getting a puppy, an Australian shepherd. I know a dog is a lot of work and that she will be another member to our family. I'm just wondering how having a dog has changed your life? Good and bad?

We have a dog we love him but... It's hard to just leave and go. You can't stay out all day you have to go home let the dog out. Our dog lasts about 6 hours and then I feel guilty. Our dog is great on the road but a lot of places don't allow dogs. We use Rover.con for trips he can't go on so for 5 days that's like $150. Dog toys are a must or your stuff will be the new chew toy. Just like kids they need fresh toys and activities. Shop the clearance for toys. You have a kid so obedience school is essential $200. The start up cost of a dog (bed, leash, dog bowl, crate, treats, food, shots, heartworm pills, etc). Each dog has a personality. Our dog doesn't like people so that's hard. But we love our goober. We will not be doing this again when he dies though.
