microdiskectomy

hey guys I am currently 4 days post- op on a right side L5/S1 microdiskectomy. has anyone else had this procedure done? I am feeling pretty good at this point, even though all I am allowed to do is rest and walk. Its hard to be at home and not alowed to do chores. there are like 3 loads of laundry up stairs that can be folded. My husband has been a great help, So has our German shepherd Sophie. I can't wait to see what life is like without back pain.
