Is breaking up with text ok?

Sometimes me and my bf talk about how we feel over text because we can't see each other all the time, what if it goes too far and we break up because I'm almost at the breaking point

In my situation I had no choice but the break up with two of my exes over text. I would much rather have done it in person. But I feel like if you have to say it and talk about in person later than that's fine. Just my opinion though 🤷🏼‍♀️

I broke up with my ex over text because I had been trying for months to leave him and he was crazy and actually wouldn't let me leave. I felt horrible for it and I wouldn't do it again.

I broke up with my ex through text would now be almost 6 months. We where together for over 5 years, things changed. I always made comments on the phone though because we didn't see each other for over a year.

It depends how the the other person feels, you may feel like you owe them the respect of doing it in person. But if not, and you can't do it in person, it may be the only choice.
