Is it weird that I don't want anybody in the room while I give birth?

Just my preference. Anybody ever do this?

My husband would probably die if I told him I don't want anyone in the room lol I'm very attached to him so obviously that's not even an option. My mom wanted to be in the room too but I said NOPE, she would probably stress me out or Facebook live the whole thing lol

My mom and husband were in the room, he was holding one of my legs because I was so loopy from the pain didn't have time for pain meds of any kind...I didn't even hardly realize my mom was in the room. I just wanted labor to stop and the baby out haha

Neither did I!  Like at all. I was incredibly depressed and just wanted to experience it on my own [cesarean]. My midwife INSISTED and she went in with me. It was nice,  but I would have still been okay alone.

Not weird at all. The only person I wanted in the room besides the doctors/nurses and myself was my fiancé. There is absolutely nothing wrong with not wanting an extra entourage hanging out while your hoohaa is just out in the open.
