Safe ways to decongest nose?

My nose is super stuffed every evening since Iv been pregnant. Does anyone know/recommend a safe and effective way to decongest? A friend of mine recommended the netti pot? Anyone else recommend this or something else?

Essential oils! Diffusing eucalyptus helps a stuffy nose. If you don't have that try breathing Vic's (which also has eucalyptus in it!)

Neti pot should help. Also, saline nasal spray will do just about the same thing, but not actually clear your whole sinus cavity. You'll get re-congested after the neti pot, but use it again the next day, it will improve more quickly than not using it.

I have no idea. Usually I can get mine clear and then within 10 minutes it's right back to congested again.

Neti pot could help, but your nasal passages can swell because of hormones and increased blood flow. Those are things that won't go away until you deliver.

Eucalyptus oil is something I've used if I got congested and I use it on my boyfriend as he's starting to get congested. Use certified therapeutic grade oil (doTERRA). Diffuse it, put a drop in your hand and inhale or rub a light bit on your nose:) good luck!
