Do I tell him?

My lower back has been killing me and my sweet husband offered to give me a back rub. I took him up on the offer, and I don't have the heart to tell him that he is the absolute worst at giving massage! He doesn't rub hard enough for me to even feel it in my aching muscles 😭

I'm so grateful that he want to help, but I'm almost better off trying to stretch and do it myself 😂

Have him get a tennis ball and roll it around your lower back. It's firm enough to help provide pressure to where he is lacking.

My husband is the same! Even pre-pregnancy his massages weren't the greatest because he thought I was too fragile (insert eye roll) and now that I'm carrying our daughter he doesn't want to hurt either of us! And I'm over here wishing he'd put his muscle in it because the sciatic pain is so bad sometimes. 
He did tell me to splurge on a massage this coming weekend for a spa bachelorette day I'm going to, so I might just have to take him up on that.😉

I wish my husband would at least attempt it without me asking. Unless he can physically see me in severe pain he doesn't even ask if I'm okay. But he asks me to rub his back all the time, just be honest with him. Just put it nicely, don't specifically call him the worst.

Just tell him to make a fist 👊🏼  or use a tennis ball that way he won't hurt his hands and there is a lot my pressure in the fist that the fingers  beat of both worlds I just tell my hubby to go push harder and he dose

I thought maybe I was the only one who thought this way! I thought I was just being overly critical because I am a massage therapist.

Mine is the same. His massages actually just make it worse, because i try to help him but then he scratches me with his callus or gives me a rug burn from rubbing my shirt. I don't even know how to help him get better so ive just resorted to telling him to not bother trying until he can take some classes
