Sex During Engagement?

So I need advice and I just ask that everyone is respectful. Thank you. -So what is the Christian perspective on sex before marriage but during engagement? - My boyfriend and I have been together for 3 years now and are not ""officially"" engaged and will not be married until we are both out of college which would be 5+ years ((he is 25 and I am 22)) for our own reasons. I want to wait until I am married to take that intimate plunge... But we both don't know wether or not we can wait that long. We do plan on being together for the long haul and talk about marriage and engagement a lot but we just have yet to be official. -While I want to wait for my religious reasons, I also cannot get on birth control until I am 26 since I am on my parents insurance and we DO NOT want kids honestly, ever. So I am petrified of getting pregnant before I have financial security as he is as well. So that is another huge reason for waiting to have sex. -I just really need advice... Sorry for the long post I'm just so stressed...
