I'm truly surprised he said this!

katie • Pregnant through IVF after 4 years of infertility and 4 consecutive early losses. Mommy to Alaina (6) and Niko due 11/18 💓

Last night my husband and I were tidying up the living room and and I flirtatiously shook my butt at him and said

"am I getting laid tonight?"

He then gave me a look and asked

"did we have sex last night?" (He had friends over to watch a football game and had a few beers so he just needed reminded lol)

And I replied "yesssss?"

Then he goes "Okay and this morning.. it either happened last night or this morning." So, I'm like 🤔 "What are you talking about babe what happened?"

Then he pulls me in his arms and looks at me and says "Either last night or this morning is when we conceived our baby... I just know it."

Then he pulls me in and kisses me and holds me tight.

😍😫❤️😭😍❤️😫😭😍

A little back story on why this was such a surprise... We have a daughter who is two. We've been trying since she turned 1. He had to leave for 5 months on a deployment but as soon as he got back we started trying again. In January I got a bfp and we were so excited. However, I sadly miscarried in March. After that we got another bfp in May but it ended up being a chemical pregnancy.

When I got a bfp in May he hardly acknowledged it because he said he wanted to go to the doctor first to be sure (totally understandable after all we went through.)

Usually month after month my husband doesn't really say much about conceiving. He's said time and time again that he'd just like to try not to stress it and let it happen when it's meant to. So I was SO surprised when that came out of his mouth 😍❤️ In October it will be 1 year since he returned home from deployment and we started trying for baby #2 and 6 months since the miscarriage.

We stopped using opk's a while back but yesterday morning is the first time I've had EWCM since my daughter was conceived!

Fingers crossed that my husband is right and this month is our month 🤞🏼✨❤️🤞🏼🤰🏻
