How do you know how many weeks pregnant you are?

Hi girls, 
So I got my BFP yesterday... and I'm over the moon, but I was just wondering how you calculate how far along you are? I took a clear blue and it said 1-2 weeks but my doctor is saying 4 and from my last period? I'm so confused, AF was due tomorrow. 
Any ideas girls?

The test shows 2 weeks from when you ovulated. But the dr does it based on your lmp. I would say 4 weeks is accurate
