Ladies, I'm 35, ttc #1 for 14 weeks. I just wanted to get your thoughts on drinking alcohol or coffee during the 2ww (which I'm currently in btw). I normally have 1-2 cups of coffee a day and 1-3 drinks with dinner or on a night out (but not every night, mostly red wine and the occasional cocktail). My doctor told me to avoid caffeine and alcohol while I'm ttc, but I can't just stop living my life for months and isn't alcohol the reason a lot of people get pregnant?!? All of my friends conceived whilst enjoying their lattes and wine. Thanks!
