When to start ovulation test & advice

This will be our first month TTC, when do you recommend I start taking ovulation test? 
Also which brand have been the best for you? 
Any tips/advice would be amazing! ❤️

I went online and got a box of 50 ovulation tests for $20(easy at home brand). A lot of ladies like the digital brands instead. I found the easy at home brand ones worked well. The cycle day that you start testing will depend on the length of your cycle. My cycle is 24 days so it's recommended that I start testing on cd 9. I usually see a peek on cd 11 or 12. The box will tell you when to start testing. Once you've got a positive you baby dance like crazy! 
You can also track your BBT. Take it first thing in the morning before you even move every day. Your temp should drop once you've ovulated. 
If you haven't started now, take prenatals. They don't necessarily help you get pregnant but are good for you and the baby's development. 
Try not to stress and make your entire life about TTC! You'll drive yourself crazy and become a peeing on a stick addict!

we have a similar calendar. last month I start on the first green day. this time I actually started last night. in case I leak early (I peaked early last month). I purchased opk in bulk on Amazon. baby dust to us all!
