Vitamin question

Me and my husband put alot of stuff in storage after our son was born. Which included a bottle of prenatals. I took a few, so the seal was broke but the whole time it was stores, the lid was secured. The date is 12/2017. They were in a building for a year maybe a little longer. Are they still safe to take or should I just invest in another bottle? He thinks they are safe, I'm not so sure.
