We are trying to conceive but in the days we are supposed to have sex hubby can't cum inside ;(

I have to add that I work overnight and hubby is getting up to get ready. We are trying as best as we can but I am kind of annoyed/ wondering why he doesn't come inside. I am exhausted and maybe nothing sexy to entice either so I know he is trying because he wants another baby. He just said he heard that some women just take the sperms and put them inside themselves with their hands. I heard this before, but I didn't believe it was true or possible. I didn't like that and told him I won't do it that way. It sounds like you trying to conceive without a mutual consent. Plus is this even possible? I want to have another baby so I am getting desperate too :( What should I do?
