So my husband is stationed at Oceana in VA and we were told by the medical office on his base that the military no longer accepts blood work as positive for a pregnancy. We were told to make an appointment at Portsmouth(Norfolks medical facility 20 miles from us) where we would get an ultrasound to verify the pregnancy and have my first prenatal.

We just moved here a few weeks ago and have been thrown around by a thousand different people and now I'm 10 weeks and they're saying I won't be getting an ultrasound!!! This is my first and there haven't been any major signs of anything being wrong but I don't know if I'm comfortable waiting until I'm 12 weeks!! What if somethings wrong?

Has anybody else experienced anything like this or have any advise? I can't help but be worried 😥
