40 weeks, can i ask to be induced?

I'm beyond miserable. tomorrow is my due date. i just want her out, can i ask to be induced or do i HAVE to wait another week.

I would ask the most they say is no. My dr always liked 39 weeks to induce and they always suggested it

Depends! I'm 40 weeks today and the ultrasound shows us he's already about 8.5 pounds. We pushed to be induced since I'm tiny, and my doctor said fine. We're going in tomorrow night to start helping me dilate and will break my water come Thursday morning!
