Sexuality?

Hi! Ever since I was a child (9 or 12) I knew Ive had an attraction to both sexes. I always thought of myself as being bisexual. But lately everyone's saying if you don't care about someone's sexual orientation or gender you're actually pansexual. Which I don't care about someone's orientation or gender I just love people. So am I bisexual or pansexual? Aren't they both on the bisexual scale?

Technically, pansexuality and bisexuality are not the same.  Sexuality means an attraction to two (and on,y two) genders. And it doesn't have to apply to just male and female! You could be only attracted to genderqueers and males, or demi-girls and girls. Pansexuality means you can be attracted to all genders. All of 'em! For me, it means that gender doesn't play a role in who or how much I'm attracted to someone, but sometimes pan people can have a preference for certain genders (psst: that's perfectly fine and normal for any sexuality that likes more than one gender). I don't know enough about you to determine which one you are, but I hope that these definitions help you get a feel for which one fits YOU best. And remember, that's the most important part.

they're not exactly on the same scale but at this point you really shouldn't worry about the right label :)
some ppl think it's more logical for people outside of the gender binary to identify as pan while cis gender only attracted to cis ppl should identify as bi. there's still a lot of debates concerning pan and bi ppl so that's why I'm telling you as long as you liking someone  doesnt stress you out don't care about those two labels😘

I see I'm bisexual and I've identified like that for years but I don't necessarily care if someone is trans male or female however I've always jokingly said I may be bisexual but I have a stronger preference for penis and I'm so attracted to girls when I think about it in terms of like long-term future goals or like to be married to a man if that ever changes then it's whatever
