Early pregnancy cold symptoms?

Question

I've often come across articles stating that nasal congestion or cold symptoms can be an early symptom of pregnancy.  Has anyone actually experienced this or does anyone know if this is actually a thing?

i thought i was coming down with a cold runny nose couldn't breath at all till i noticed i was 5 days late took a test it was positive went to the doctor and confirmed 5weeks 3days i hope this helps.

Yea, it's so hard to tell sometimes.  It's almost as if any symptom out of the ordinary CAN be associated with pregnancy so we are always left with our hopes up.  My cold symptoms are mild and could very well just be a cold coming on.  I wonder, though, if our bodies kick into pregnancy mode and leaves our immune system weak in other areas. Just pulling that thought straight outta my butthole though.

I was literally wanting to know the exact same thing. woke up with a sore throat yesterday, now congested with runny nose. currently in my TWW, but all bfn so far. still a tad early, I'm due for AF  18 Sep.

I'm currently in my TWW and have a rather severe cold. Hoping we conceived this month and have heard that cold symptoms are common in the first trimester. But still pretty sure this is a real cold ☹️. Hoping for a positive test anyway!

I'm experiencing the same thing and also have THE worst runny eyes! they don't stop watering and they're SO sensitive to the light that it's awful! I'm hoping it's a sign and that i get a BFP in the next few days!!

I get terrible congestion 😭 it only used to happen to me in the winter time and now it's every day. It will let up a little an hour or so before I go to sleep, but once I lay down it's awful!! I was going to ask the same question today! I thought I was getting sick lol
