Did you get the flu shot while you were pregnant?

I've never had a flu shot and I've heard that it can sometimes have an adverse effect. Any opinions?

Nope. the shot isnt a live virus. You may get flu like sumptoms as a result of the shot but its not the actual flu. If you get the flu after the shot you either were exposed before, during the 2 weeks it takes to kick in, or you have a strain of it that is not covered in the shot.

I'm having my baby in January, so right in the middle of cold and flu season.... I will be getting the flu shot because I wouldn't be able to live with myself if I didn't get it and something happened to my baby (yes, I know there are different strains.. but it's better than nothing).

Ive had two this pregnancy, one from last years strand, and one from this years strand. Didn't have an issue with either of them, and never had any issues in the past. & I have gotten one every year.
