Future AF wife advice?

So my hubby is in the works of joining the AF, we had to take care of some debt before they allowed him and he paid it all off yesterday!!

We're both excited, but we know it could be a few months before the ball really gets rolling.

I just wanted to see if anyone had advice for a future AF wife/momma? Our son is 5 months and we currently live with my parents- where I'll probably be staying while he's in basic and such. I'm hoping I can meet some friends throughout this journey since I've never had much luck with meeting friends since I never was part of the partying groups and now that I'm a mom and such.
