How do you start divorce process?

Anyone know what's the easiest/fastest/cheapest way to get a divorce? A friend of mine mentioned once she did hers on her own pretty much and I could ask her but I don't want to start any gossip so I can't ask her.... ANYONE? PLEASE HELP!!!

You have to have a complaint, joint preliminary injunction, summons, and demo graphic cover sheet if it's required by your state and file it with the court. You then have an impartial 3rd party serve your spouse. He has 20 days to file his response and if he doesn't you must file a default to get what you requested in your complaint. you will submit a proposed decree of divorce that the judge must sign off on. to file by your self without it being contested by your spouse should not cost more than $300.
