My best friend is not that responsonsible

so my best friends family isn't that great at commitment and responsibilities when getting a pet in the last six years that I've known her one dog got ran over another ran away they abandoned one at the park but waited till they saw someone pick it up one dog died from a head Injury from the other dog and they had two huskies one they gave to their uncle and she ran away the next day and the other they let loose In the park my best friends dog is still alive and well which is a miracle mostly because she's not that curious to adventure cause she always gets out of the back yard but she stays at their house so my best friend is coming back from new Mexico rn and they just picked up another puppy I'm worried it's going to end up like all the other ones what do I do
