Anyone else never used tampons before?

Just curious because I've never been able to use tampons I'm too afraid I tried once bc i had no other option and I guess i didn't insert it properly it was uncomfy and didn't stay in and I've never really desired to try again. I know my mom also doesn't use them but everyone else I know does so..

It took me until I was 18/19 to start using tampons. I had a really bad experience with them a couple years before, and wasn't able to try again. Luckily no one pressured me into it nor did they shame me for not using them. I came to using them on my own, and was very thankful I overcame that. I felt myself grow a little when I was 18/19. Just go with your own pace, and own timeline. It isn't anyone else's business if you never use them. :) Everyone is different.

I always hated tampons because I got too dry and couldn't use 2 in a row. I mostly just used pads unless I had to use a tampon. I tried a cup to see what all the fuss was about and I don't have the same issue as I did with tampons so I'm happy now!

I switched from tampons to the diva cup because tampons got uncomfortable every time I tried using them. I have very easy periods and the diva cup is so much better.

I switched from pads to tampons when I was 13. 
If its uncomfortable then it is possible you didn't insert t right, you could also try using a different brand. For some reason Tampax, playtex and equate are really painful for me - Kotex is the only brand I can use without issues.

I prefer to use them I'd rather not sit in my own blood all day, basically and plus pads gives me a cut every single time. I even feel more comfortable using a tampon also no one knows you're using one if you go to the bathroom.
