My best friend has a lisp. My mom and I both stutter when public speaking or anxious. The thing is the people who make fun of speech impediments is they 1) can't find anything worse about you or 2) feel making a joke will make you feel better. The one I get a lot when I'm speaking and can't get words to come out right is, T-t-t-today junior. 🙄

Best way to beat the bullies is to own it. Say you are happy with it and it makes you, you. Ignore the mean people. Unfortunately, it's the internet and there will always be mean people. You need a tough skin if you are gonna put yourself out there. I couldn't do it myself so I commend you.
