How many serious relationships were you in before you found “the one”?

I had 2 serious relationships before my husband. One of them even being 6 years long, but I knew he wasn't the one when after 6 years I couldn't imagine being married to him. I met mt husband on a dating website, on a whim I joined one to just date around and build my confidence in myself, plus I had just gotten out of my 2nd serious relationship (2 years long) and wasn't looking for anything serious. I went on dates with about 10 guys before I met my husband. We started talking and I actually kept refusing dates with him and saying I was too busy. Why? I didn't think he was intelligent enough for us to get along 😂 He clearly ended up getting a date, it took him an entire month to convince me though. And the rest is history... We went on a date every single night for a week straight, he was in the Navy so at the end of that week, he went out to sea (he was a submariner) so whioe he was out to sea our ONLY communication was email which was slow as hell. When he got back (2 weeks later) he finally asked me to be his girlfriend. Within 2 months, I just knew he was the one, and we moved in together. A month after that he deployed for 6 months, the deployment just confirmed even more he was the one. A month after he got home, he proposed. We've been together for 5 years now and married for 4, and we have 3 littles girls together, a 1 1/2 year old and twins that are almost 6 weeks.

I had 4 serious relationships before I met my bf. I never thought of them as the one. I knew right away my bf was the one. It has never changed. I was instantly comfortable with him. I fell in love with him right away and I knew he was it for me. And it made me so happy to know he fell in love with me right away also and he told me I was his soul mate and it was like fate for us. And I'm his first gf so I was surprised he felt that way.

My husband is actually one of the ones I dated. When were were younger, early 20s we were together for a few months and ended up pregnant. At the time we were completely different people. Still young and partying. But I changed the moment I found out I was pregnant. Unfortunately he's a little younger than me. (Just over a year.) and he wasn't quite ready to grow up so we went our separate ways. 9 years and him having 2 kids and one marriage later we actually reconnected and it was crazy the difference in both of us! We had both grown up so much. We decided to give it another shot and fell head over heals in love. Ended up married and having another baby. Now we are ttc again. He is such an amazing man who goes above and beyond to take care of his family! I couldn't be more proud to be his wife. We may have done things bass ackwords but in the end I wouldn't have it any other way! Who knew the one was the "One" all along 💜

i had 1 super serious relationship before my so. and 2 semi serious ones. i met my so when i was 14, and we actually dated when i was 15, for a month and a half lol but we were young and stupid and things didnt work out. he actually picked up my broken pieces after i left my 3 year relationship and moved out of my exs, and we've been together ever since! (6 years after we dated in highschool) currently engaged and ttc ❤
