Need some advice!!!

So I've recently been talking to a guy. He's very attractive and seems super nice and amazing; I really like him. I did something I kinda regret, which is have sex with him already. The only reason I say I regret it (other than I would rate it a 6 out of 10 all the sex scale) is because he won't have a deep intellectual conversation with me. I feel like all we have is small talk and I can't tell if he wants to have a relationship eventually or just a friends with benefits. I'm the type of person that likes to know everything and likes talking about deep stuff. I don't know if I should just stop talking to him all together or desperately keep trying to have a good conversation. Does anyone have advice or anything that can help me?
