Jett is finally here, after 48 hours of pre labor and 12 hours of labor our baby boy was born

Jett is finally here, after 48 hours of pre labor and 12 hours of labor our baby born was born! As a FTM I didn't know what to expect and I did not have any BH so I had no idea what contractions felt like, we came to the hospital Sunday at 12am and I was only 2cm dilated but I was cramping every 10 mins so I thought it was necessary to come in, BOY I WAS WRONG I had no idea what was coming for me lol, Monday around 4am my contractions were every 5 mins and I was in horrible pain but I was still only 3 cm dilated so they sent me back, (longest two days of my life!!!!) then Monday around 11 i was in excruciating pain nothing compared to the days before, we rushed to the hospital just to find out I was only 3 1/2 cm dilated so they made me walk, I was in so much pain it was imposible I tried for like 30 mins and they came to check I was already 5 1/2 by 2 am, I was admitted 30 mins from there I was given my epidural! (Hallelujah)! Around 6 i was still the same 5 1/2 so they made me go back and forth with the peanut balls (mind my legs are dead weight) it was hard to switch back and forth but hey it worked! Around 1pm I was at 10cm it was time to push!!! I was feeling those contractions a little regardless of the epidural but it helped me so much to know when to push and not to depend on the nurse telling me when to do it, pushed for like 45 mins before my doctor came in, nurse suggested to use a mirror to see (BEST IDEA EVER) it motives you to push harder when you are seeing your baby come out! 6-10 pushes later our beautiful baby boy was here! I did rip a little but nothing major. Now here we are enjoying the nurses at the hospital while we can before we take our baby boy home! We got a healthy 9 pounds 1oz and 20 inches long baby! Yes 9 pound

we were not expecting such a big baby! Mind you I am 5'4 lol no wonder I had horrible back pains thru my pregnancy! Lol but it was all worth it!!!!!!
