Abscessed tooth??

Question

Hey ladies. 7w3d here and i'm suffering from a terrible abscess. My dentist won't do a root canal until i'm 12 weeks, due to risks, and my obgyn has an up-to 48 hour call back time for me to get antibiotics. 
does anyone have any recommendations or household remedies to soothe the pain? I slept 4 hours last night and can't even eat!

Aw poor you☹️ when I had an abscess no painkillers touched it. I used to put a shot of whisky in a glass, out it in the microwave for about 10 seconds (anything cold on the abscess is agony🙈) and hold it in your mouth over the bad tooth. The alcohol is antiseptic so is a really good for cleansing the infected area but also the strength f alcohol helps to numb the rare really effectively! Hold it on the area for about 10 minutes or longer if you can (it does start to prickle a little which is uncomfortable) but I found it helped to ease the pain for a short while.
