How far is/was the hospital/birthing center from home?

Hey ladies,

I was wondering how far the hospital or birthing center you plan to deliver in, is from your home (or work)?

The hospital we’ve been visiting is about 6.5 miles away, which is about a 35 minute drive.

My first Labor ended up being induced so I didn’t have to worry about making it on time, but my husband thinks it’s too far and we should go to the hospital closer to us, but I’m not a fan of the neighborhood and all of my OB appointments have been at the facility 35 mins away. Just curious to see everyone else’s plan.
