Crushed

My SO dropped a bomb on me this morning.. he said he thought we should wait until we're more financially stable to start trying, when literally maybe two months ago he sat me down and said he wanted to actually try. I was so so excited and obviously after what he said this morning, I'm crushed 😔 how does one even "financially prepare" for a baby? I feel like no matter how much money you have, it's never enough for a baby. I'm just so sad inside, it seems like it's over now and that it's never going to happen. Really needing some words of encouragement right now
