Pretty simple and easy birth story
So on Tuesday September 19th I was 38 weeks and 4 days I had a regular check at my Drs office at 4pm. When I went in he checked me and I was 2cm dialated and around 60% effaced with no contractions or signs of labor. So I went home and cooked my family dinner while I thought I had some regular pelvic pressure and around 6:52pm I realized I was having mild contractions that felt like pressure so I started timing them. They started out 7 mins apart at around 8:00pm they dropped to 5 mins apart. Then at 9:00pm they were 4 mins apart. At 10:00pm they dropped to 2 mins apart so I woke the hubby and told him it was time to head to the hospital. Once signed in they checked me and I was at 4cm dialated, 70% effaced and station 0. So I labored in the hospital fairly easily until 11:54pm when my water decided to break. At that point the contractions got a lot worse and less than 1 min apart. I was offered an epidural but I stood my ground and refused. I cried and cussed from the pain until 1:50am on Wednesday September 20th when my body started pushing. Sage Creek was born at 1:56am September 20th 2017 weighting 7lbs 8oz, 20 inches long, naturally, no issues, no tears just a beautiful healthy baby boy👣💙
