Take a bath with baby?

FTM; I've heard you're not supposed to fully put a baby in water until their umbilical cord falls off and heals and stuff, so does that mean as soon as that's done I can take baths and hold my baby in the bath with me? I take a bath everyday so I figured it would probably be easy to bathe baby at the same time as me

You should be okay probably as long as you're careful. 
Side note: are you (mom) able to take baths before 6 weeks after birth? My doctor said no and I love baths! Maybe I need a second opinion haha.

I wouldn't when they're really small. Mostly for safety. It's just not a good idea.

You want to be careful with the water temperature. Your baby can't handle hot water  or really even very warm water.

Ya that should be fine as long as you trust yourself holding the baby in the water.
