I personally would never use castor oil it isn't safe. I did use nipple stimulation(using my manual pump) and my water broke and my baby was born 8hrs later!

I used castor oil for my first, i was 42w. Drank it went and had a bath then when i was getting out of the bath my water broke. Ended up having to have an emergency c-section because the cord was wrapped and she was breech but it seemed to work for me!
