Epidural or General anesthetic?

Wondering if anyone here did GA recently with minimal complications?
I’m set for a csect done tomorrow, my little boy is on the heavier range (3.78kg) and gynae didn’t want to risk complications during natural birth. But anesthetist kept asking me to consider Epidural, saying GA may cause drowsiness and worst case, NICU for baby but I’m not confident of staying still / not freaking out when they do the procedure.
Any advise on this?
