English is not my first language, but most of our friends are from the UK as we lived there, so we are planning to do a little FB announcement but I need some help with the wording please.

"...(bla bla bla)... and we are eagerly waiting to have our sweet baby girl in our arms" - does this sound right? Or should it be "eagerly awaiting"? Or any other suggestions? Thank you <3
