Crazy wives tales or success stories?

So I'm super curious how many of you mommies tried different wives tales to induce labor? I'm 38 weeks 1day and am trying out raspberry leaf tea. I don't normally buy into the "drink this do that" crowd but thought hey, why not? I like tea! I'm already diabetes to 3cm and just 50% effaced. While I'm not in desperate need to go into labor early, I would like to this weekend while my husband is home and off work lol. Just interested in your funny stories or stories where crazy things have actually worked!

All this does is tone and strengthen your uterus. I drank it everyday from second tri on with all my pregnancies. The benefits are great for labor though and I believe that's why my uterus is still thick and in shape after 3 Csections.

I did dates with my first, 6 a day from 36 weeks until I delivered at 41 weeks. I also ate 4 pineapples one day, core included. Tried sex for about 10 seconds before I told my husband to leave me alone. Also walking and spicy food. L&D; was still 41 hours from start to finish. I'm working on raspberry leaf tea this time, started at 28 weeks with 1 cup daily. Now at 33 weeks I've increased  to 2 cups. At 36 I'll increase to 3 cups and add in the dates. I also have been using a birth ball for a desk chair since like 24 weeks. 
Just FYI, raspberry leaf tea isn't for induction but for uterine health. It's supposed to prep and tone the uterus to make labor easier and shorter, and the recovery period quicker. Dunno if it works since I skipped it last time, but some swear by it 🤷‍♀️

Hey. This stuff works but not for what you're using it for. It isn't for induction. It's to tone and strengthen the cervix.

I went for two walks and a bumpy car ride on my due date and started labor later that day. I had been having Braxton hicks regularly since 36 weeks and was more than ready to get my little boy out. I was determined not to go late. He was born an hour and 21 minutes after his due date after only 11 and a half hours in the hospital. I'm honestly hoping this time I go into labor a week or two before my due date. I love my boys and will definitely have at least one more baby but I hate being pregnant.
