Infection

I got my helix piercing a few weeks back and it's infected I'm taking antibiotics and using a cream but the hardness what's the gone down down this is only my second day using antibiotics but the rest of the swelling has gone done only the the spot right behind the piercing is hard. Has anyone else experienced this will it go down?
